This game
saw the introduction of a sponsorship arrangement with Prostar
&
Kits Direct, Datchet. Each Semi-Finalist in both Premier and Junior
Competitions will be given two Prostar Venom Match Balls.
Prostar
are
keen to support this competition which was inaugurated in 1923.
The Match
itself was a credit to both teams who played some good football.
Maidenhead took a two goal lead in the first half but Chalvey managed
to pull one back just before half time.
The second
half saw end to end action, but it was Maidenhead who got the elusive
3rd goal which put paid to Chalvey’s
valiant effort.
The second
Semi-Final will be between Eascote and Windsor Great Park, who
beat
Orchard Park Rangers Reserves 6-1.
Next week
sees Wraysbury play Slough Heating in the Premier Semi-Final
at
the
Memorial Ground Wraysbury, kick off 1:30pm, to get a place in the
Final to be played at Burnham F.C. on Good Friday.
